  Very old Buddhist temple.there are lot of ancient caves with the history of 2500 years.you can still see lots of Brahmi letters on the caves .still some monks practice meditation in the caves. Temple sorounds with lot of trees in the forest with calm and quit silent environment. The caves are dated to the naissance of buddhism Of king dewanampiyatissa.wonderfull place...
