::A great hike and worth it for the amazing view from the top. Can reach the peak less than 1 hour But its exhausting if you try it close to noon. Best to climb in the evening.🌅

::Great view on top. People make out as if the last bit of the climb is merely a matter of there not being steps. It's harder than that, not in the sense of being strenuous, but you need to be fit and sufficiently flexible. Wouldn't recommend to the average person over 60.

::Well worth the climb which is challenging at the end in a fun way, nothing to extreme but you definitely need to be fit to get to the top because your climbing rocks not stairs. The view is simply amazing especially early in the morning.you for a nice 360 degrees view also of the more famous Sigiriya rock. It cost only 500 rupees as a donation. It was not crowded at all. Would recommend a visit.

::The temple was constructed on a massive rock called Pidurangala,Not in the top of the rock but a very calm and safe place in the middle part of the rock. which is located a few kilometers north of the historical fort Sigiriya. I would like to call it A nature lovers paradise .

::Awesome view, climb is not too hard and gets a wee bit tricky at the end but only for the last bit. Make sure you have something to cover shoulders and knees for the entrance which is at the temple below! The ticket seller did not mind shorts but did mind skirts that were very short.
