::Pitawala pathana is a unique grass land situated in the Knuckles conservation forest. It could be clearly seen from a distance as slanted bold patch among the mountain tops in the area. It very famous because of the mini world's end which is a deep escarpment it hosts at the edge of the grass land. The world's end offers a panoramic view of the Knuckles range. You need to purchase tickets in order to enter the Pitawala Pathana. Parking is available near the ticket counter and they also offer washroom facilities.
