  We had a great week in this hotel. The manager is very helpful and professional. Breakfast and dinner are just wonderful!!!

  Chatu's place is the best that can happen to you when looking for a place to stay in Sri Lanka. Its quiet location off the main road is placed in a wonderful greenery, offering you all the relaxation you might need. You can choose between lovely rooms at the Plantation Inn itself or pick the wonderful deluxe bungalows that are a little further in the back. We stayed in a bungalow and loved every single minute of it. Chatu put much thought and love into creating the bungalows and outside area where you are greeted by monkeys, peacocks and chipmunks every day :) Needless to say that the food and service in general is entirely amazing, too! Chatu and Baba go above and beyond helping you with absolutely everything. They help you plan trips, offer great tips and never hesitate to fulfill any wish. You are not treated like a tourist but like family and this is probably also the reason why there is such a good vibe between the guests, too, who quickly become a gang of friends :) There are really no words sufficient enough to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at the Plantation Inn. We will definitely be back and are already counting the months! Thank you, Chatu, Baba and the rest of the family. You are the best!!!

  I had a great stay for just over 2 weeks. Chathu and his family are very friendly and welcoming, and worked hard to look after everyone. The guesthouse is relaxed and ideal for chilling out - it has a lovely garden and shared dining table. We had some delicious food here, in particular a New Year's eve barbecue that was an amazing feast. I recommend booking your room well in advance during busier periods.

  Quiet a pearl in the sea of surf places around. Chathu and his people are very hospitable and connecting. Superb for chilling and enjoying excelent food.
