  Pokkanai Jama is a small water spring look like human feet shape. Villages believe that this place is related to Ramayana. They said the spring was formed when Lord Rama shot his bow on the earth to find any spring to quite his thirsty. It is connected to the sea and pass excess water on rainy days. Also this place will be flooding while the water level increases on Sea.
