::If you are someone from kegalle, during rush days you can get a train from colombo to polgahawela and get a bus to kegalle. Sometimes its very hard to get a bus during evening hours. This station is not much clean.

::It's a bit long station and one of the old station . Not bad at all. Most of the trains stop here so one of the major station in sri lanka. Recently constructs fly over to avoid traffic jam because of the train service . Double track line ends here from Fort station. This is the 2nd Junction from Colombo fort station, where once line connect upcountry and other line North east line.
