  Andrew & Rehan were absolutely great hosts, we had a great experience staying at their place. It was a lovely area to be at outside of Kandy, out of that traffic madness, and a joy to come home to everyday after our tired travels outside in the city. They were always helpful and ready to help us with our travel plans etc. All I can say is after our short stay with them, we have formed our friendship at Polwatte House! We will definitely be back again! :)

  Stunning location, watching birds flying over the river, sunrise and set in front of you. The historical building used to be an officers mess. Minimalist room with a warm feeling. Most peaceful place I've found in Sri Lanka so far.

  the best stay in Kandy for me. such a cozy place by the river rich in history great company and good food . a soothing and a relaxed experience
