  Sigiriya is the rock fortress of King Kashyapa... its one of the world heritage... the rock resembles the shape of a lion... the walls are decorated with carvings of sigiri apsaras... the rock is surrounded by natural beauty... as a Sri Lankan, we are really proud with sigiriya rock... I have visited 2 times.... and like to visit again and again....

  Together with the Sigirya it's a must if you are in Sri Lanka

  A part of the Sigiraya Rock complex. This was a monastery before it became a palace of the kings. It is well kept and provide a good impression of the way people lived way back than.
