  This is the last station of the upcountry railway line. Has an ancient building constructed in british colonial era. It has a large parking place. Fees charged for parking only on Sunday. Railway Ticket reservations for any destination are available upto 14 days before the travel date. This is a state owned place. (Only the government operates railway stations in srilankan).
