  Ramboada road Tunnel is currently the longest road tunnel in Sri Lanka and located Gampola - Nuwara Eliya road, close to Ramboda falls. Walking through this tunnel is prohibited and its actually very dangerous due to high speed vehicles. Romboda Tunnel was constructed with Japanese Government Funding. This 225m tunnel construction was started in year 2006 and opened for general public on 2008.

  Great work. Compare the old road. If the tunnel was not built , imagine the cue of the traffic.
