  Old fashioned hotel with large rooms, high ceilings and AC. Great pool and beautiful views. Whilst the food is average the staff are very friendly and ready to assist. Good value for money.

  Not a place for everyone, but for people who know Sri Lanka and it's people, or want to engage with them, the Rani is worth considering. As a frequent traveler who likes to meet people and not just be served by them, I enjoyed my stay. Front desk staff are all kind, considerate and well informed, the position is very good. Beach is nothing special but it is kept clean, as is the pool. Breakfast Ok, rooms large.

  Good place for a day outing. The buffet is average. Not much to select.

  Clean and quiet place. I was only on a day out with friends. The staff was friendly with a good service. Pool was good and they provided us with bath towels.
