  We went for crabs. The crab was 7500 rupees which was way too much. The baked crab with fish mixed in to the crab was 1500 rupees. Food was oily. The Crab ‘ which is the restaurant inside Hikka Trans, had a super baked crab for 1200 rupees, way cleaner and yummier. Very disappointing. The two stars are grudgingly given for the grilled tiny prawns.

  Great lobsters. Best place to have a meal in hikkaduwa. Highly recommend to anyone. Great staff and owner pays close attention to make sure every guest is served well.

  Make sure you sit down by the water and not up in the restaurant where they try to place you. Great seafood and half-decent pizza. Between 1000-4000 for main dishes. Seafood is pricier than normal food because it's fresh and you get to point at what you want. Mango-coconut prawns were great.

  Beautiful location and right on the beach. We were there briefly and had a potato starter which was quite good. Service was nice and the waiters were always smiling. Comfortable seating.

  To those looking for an outstanding fresh seafood and fish, look no further. I never wrote reviews on any restaurants, but I feel like sharing as everyone should know this outstanding level of service and quality of food. From the owner to waiters and the ambiance as well as (of course) food, it has exceeded our expectations so much so that we came back 3 times in 1 week in Sri Lanka. I hope the level stays the same and don’t forget to try shark, jumbo prawns and crab. The best I have tried in my life with my husband (and we have travelled the world). All the warm wishes and dishes for 2018!! 🙏🏼
