  It's a perfect place to begin with friends and family which fulfils your happiness this River hut is situated opposite to batticaloa lake. And consist of A/C and non A/C rooms and one Sri Lankan authentic room with wooden interior design. Happy to help you 😃

  its hell of bugs. there are no net and facility except anti mosquito. i may die with Dengu tomrrow.

  I booked this place on Agoda and had been in touch with the person over WhatsApp. The person confirmed in the morning that a room was reserved for me but when I arrived there around 5:30 PM, I was told that I will be shifted to another "better" hotel as they have to clean the septic tank suddenly at River Hut. Being exhausted by the days journey I accepted. The "better" hotel had no hot water or river/lake view or WiFi although the person reloaded my mobile with 800 MB data. It's not fair to change like this last minute. Unethical.
