  Great place to spend a day or two. I loved staying here. Both the host and the house are beautiful.

  My wife (American) and myself (Sri Lankan) came here along with our mom's for a tour in Sri Lanka. Great location and beautiful scenery by the river. The host family was incredible. They went out of their way to make us feel like we are are at home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in kandy. It was not far from the city center - 20mins with traffic. I would suggest getting to this place before sundown. It was challenging finding the place at night. I would also highly recommend getting an in house breakfast ($). Irene is a phenomenal cook. She was so warm and welcoming. The rooms were well kept. It was very clean. The restrooms were also great. You would need to provide your own toiletries. Definitely will come back when visiting kandy

  Away from the city enough to feel relaxed with beautiful view of the river.. Clean and comfortable rooms

  Amazing home stay! We woke up every morning to the chattering of birds, squirrels in the garden and cows gently grazing on the riverbed. At night the garden is a great place for a few birds as the fireflies and bats fly over the river. Irene was a delightful host, always helpful and willing to answer to any question or inquiry. The driver, Peter, is available to drive you into town or on day trips for a very good price. He gives great advice on places to eat and things to do as well, making sure you pay a fair price for all of it. All in all an amazing experience!
