  Rukmale Gedera is a luxury bungalow in the village and a perfect get away to peace & tranquility away from the congestion & pollution of Colombo. It took us 50mins by cab to get there from Colombo 5 on a weekday morning. The beautiful decor and elegant furniture & amenities with A/C in the whole bungalow gave a real sense of luxury. Lahiru keeps the place spotlessly clean and the state of the art kitchen invites you to make your own menu. The large trees gives shade to the spacious garden - home to birds & butterflies - and a siesta on the varendah round the "meda middula" is possible. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!
