  Wonderful place. As a traveling yoga teacher looking for inspiration, I was very happy to find Rukshan and his newly built yoga studio overlooking Mirissa bay, but away from most city sounds. Highly recommend a visit, every class is different

  Great yoga class and very inspirational teacher. The views are amazing. I don't give it a 5 just because of the mosquitos, but this is a general issue in Mirissa.

  Beautiful setting on top of a hill, away from the bustle of the Mirissa. Rukshan's an amazing teacher, with great energy, and his classes are always different and he curates it to match the mood and level of the students. I ended up going to his classes almost everyday since I loved it so much.

  I went to three evening classes during my five night stay in Mirissa and the two I missed were only due to bad weather! Chanaka is a naturally gifted teacher, warm and clearly very knowledgeable. Each of the classes was different and he spent time explaining the different philosophies behind our practice, adapting to the different levels of the students. The Centre itself is gorgeous, with views out over the jungle towards the beach; most definitely the most beautiful place I have ever practiced yoga in. Highly recommend.

  Myself and my partner attended Rukshan’s yoga class after reading glowing reviews however we feel they were a little misleading. The yoga is very basic & we felt unable to connect with the instructor (Rukshan himself) who kept ducking in and out of the room. He was also difficult to hear / understand and offered little / no correction in postures. The views from the hilltop were fantastic but a mosquito net around the outdoor studio would be greatly appreciated as we & the rest of the class were eaten alive. A lot to be improved upon and won’t be back.
