::It was a really good stay and a great host as well. The room facilities were exactly as described. It was not hard to find the place with it being located very close to the road, right behind a shop called Maggi's rotti shop. It's about 20m walk to the sea and straight into a small bar located next to the sea. The owner even let us use the kitchen. There is a balcony to enjoy while looking at the sea.

::Rooms vary in quality so book one night and then see if you like it. My room was clean and insect free - my neighbour's one not so much. It's very close to the beach - not the main Mirissa beach, but this is only around the corner. This also means it is very close to the noisy main road, so look elsewhere if tranquillity is a priority. Good roti shop right in front, and a couple of good beach bars. No breakfast served.

::Sailors Mirissa is set back slightly from the beautiful beach and busy road which makes it the ideal location. When we stayed New Year's Eve 2016 we were in fact the first ever guests! The owners were very friendly they made us tea and cake and actually cooked for me when I got sick which I was so appreciative of! Due to just opening there were a few unfinished jobs which I'm sure are finished now, but the accommodation was very clean, modern, build to a high specification and quiet. Would recommend Sailors to anyone visiting Mirissa.

::We received a very warm welcome from the lovely family who run Sailors. They even made curry and tea for my friend when she was poorly! The accommodation was excellent - super clean, comfortable brand new and spacious. The location is great - it's at the east end of the beach which is a little quieter but still within walking distance of everything in Mirissa. Would definitely recommend :)
