  Sanchi Jadi Kade has been around for 27 years! And undoubtedly have the best food around Kosgoda! They serve a fulfilling breakfast with the best if Sri Lanka including kiri bath (milk rice) indi appam and has some great food for lunch too, including a regional delicacy called 'Jadi' which is a type of dried fish that has been marinated with spices and goraka (pot tamarind) for 3 months. The wife if the owner, Madusha is really friendly host. When we couldn't find dinner during our stay, she went out of her way to prepare dinner for us on a special request as we didn't know where to get dinner from. Lunch finished by about 3, so if you're going there, you can call and check with them. The beach opposite this place is beautiful too! Don't forget to check it out. One of the turtle hatcheries in Kosgoda is just walking distance from here.

  If you visit Kosgoda this is probably the best place to try out authentic local food. Jadi Kade has been around for the last 20 years and has been satisfying hungry stomachs since it's beginning. The restaurant was completely washed away by the 2004 Tsunami but since then it's been restored and stubbornly continues to feed us mouth watering sinhalese Sri Lankan food. Visit them and try their rice and curries. It will blow your mind.

  Services are somewhat not satisfactory.
