  Oldest school in this area. Ms. Dona Catharina Pinto started this. Earlier it was named as Sapugaskanda Kanitu Vidyalaya. It’s held classes only for the fifth year. One of school that exhibits high marks for year 5 scholarship exam. Has high demand for admissions.

  It used to be sapagas Kandahar kanitu viduhala. Recently named as sobhitha vidyalaya.

  sapugaskanda sobhitha vidyalaya founded in 1865 is the oldest school in biyagama. The land was owned by that time by the Sapugaskanda Raja maha viharaya temple in time of Ven Makola Saranapala Thero.
