  A bit off the beat and track I think it was great. Myself and 3 friends stayed here in a 4 bedroom dorm (two bunk beds) with an ensuite. The place was clean and the owner was very friendly. He gave us keys to lockers which were available and told us about the, pretty cheap, laundry facilities. We stayed for 4 days and found the kitchen to be perfectly fine for making breakfast in and for evening meals. The balcony was a nice touch as you could stand outside with a coffee and get some fresh air in the morning. A monkey actually stole my friends coffee on the first morning so be careful of them haha. The room had a large ceiling fan which was very powerful and air-conditioning as a bonus. The beds were comfortable and the linen was clean.

  Very nice place and value for money, closer to the town, lake, temple and restaurants.

  Out of town, up a hill and on the wrong side of the lake means you have to pay tuk tuks to come and go to Kandy city centre. Inconvenient and the fares soon add up, but if you're in a group and want some comfort and seclusion this is a great place to stay. All self catering amenities on hand and the place is clean, secure and good value.
