  This is a family-run lodge. The owner, Danesh, and his wife are excellent hosts. They are courteous and extremely friendly, and make sure that you feel at home. If you would like to taste the best of Sri Lankan tea, just ask them! The place is by the main road, but once you pass through the entrance, it is difficult to imagine that you are so close to it because it is very quiet. The garden is kept in pristine condition, clean, and well organized. The room I stayed in was clean, neat, comfortable, and equipped with all the basics I needed for this trip. The bed was clean/firm and comes with a canopy + mosquito net. There was also a dresser and towel rack. The toilet was large and clean. The room is fitted with an A/C unit to handle the warm weather, but in January (cool weather) when we visited Mirissa, we had little use of it. The lodge provides free WiFi and the connection is excellent. It is only a 4-5 minute walk to the Mirissa beach from here. If you plan to go on whale-watching, it is only a ~20 min walk or a 5-8 minute ride in a tuk tuk to the dock from where boats take off. There are plenty of places to have food at. I am sure Danesh too would be happy to take orders ! In fact, if you need anything at all, just ask them. We found them to be super helpful. Overall, this motel impressed us and can be recommended to anyone looking for a safe, secluded, and peaceful stay in Mirissa.

  Paradiesischer Garten mitten im Zentrum, sehr saubere und hübsche Zimmer mit Essplatz im Grünen. GEMEINSCHAFTSKÜCHE, die mit Allem ausgestattet ist und sauber gehalten wird.

  Very friendly family. Delicious local breakfast. Beach, ATM, … nearby. Very clean rooms. One of the best accommodations in Mirissa. Highly recommended.

  Very cosy with nice hosts. The place is surrounded with lots of different restaurants. There is a spa just across the street and also an ATM machine. It is a walking distance to the beach.

  Very clean and nice place, stayed for 2 nights and the location is surrounded by several restaurants, beach is 5-10min but very easy to find. Lodge is at the Main Street but behind the owners house, so during the night it's not too noisy. Owner and his family are very friendly and speek good English.
