  Completly incompetent. Asked for 3 times if we could have a tuk tuk for one day and they always told us, that we could have it and they will show us how to drive. We planned our day and booked the tuk tuk for the next day. When we Wanted to pick up they told us, that we can't have it for incomprehensible reasons.

  Beware of renting a self drive vehicle here as you are required to leave your passport with them. It is illegal for foreigners to travel in Sri Lanka without ID. You risk being in serious trouble if you are stopped and do not have your passport readily available.
