  Sri Sumangalaramya as named this temple early called name was Thekkawatta Sri Purana Viharaya. This temple more than hundred years ago started. Now a days Sri Sumangalaramya affiliated Dhamma School ( Daham Pasala ) is named Sri Pannananda Daham Pasala . very famous Dhamma School in this areas. This temple have a very new built chetti ( Dagaboo) which was started from February 2017 and temple in the Gampaha District one of Dompe Sasana Arakshaka area.
