  This is a relatively new temple situated on a remote place in Hambanthota district. There are over 50 saamanera bikkus who reside in this temple. The buildings are long way off from completion. The food is difficult to come by for these monks as the place area is not only remote but residents are not so well to do also. The serive rendered by the temple to Buddhism invaluable.
