  One of the oldest and well known boys college in Anuradhapura. Started as a English college by and under the Arch Bishop. Now the school under the Ministry of Education.

  St. Joseph's College, Anuradhapura is one of the oldest and well-known schools in the region. This institution was registered as a government English school in 1898 by the Arch Bishop of Jaffna with Roman Catholic affiliations and it became a boys school in 1914. At present this is a fully fledged government owned college giving quality education to students from any background and has a great reputation among the society.
