  St. Luke's Church - Borella established in 1881 serves the community in Borella is a part of the Diocese of Colombo. The church is located in close proximity to prominent hospitals in the area, provides the opportunity for the church to fulfil the vision of St. Luke, the physician by counselling, praying and providing the needs of the patients who come to the hospitals. The spiritual needs of the congregation is attended under the watchful guidance of the Vicar, Rev. Niroshan de Mel. Holy Communion Services are conducted every Sunday along with Weekly Wednesday Services.
