::Merry Christmas! Church of St Mary, Our Lady of Purification, also known as Nayakakanda St. Mary's chruch, one of the oldest and powerful shrine of mother mery. This shrine is Huge and calm and serves, English, Sinhala and Tamil services. Sunday special services for Sinhala starts at 6am and Tamil would be at 10am. English services normally on Saturday from 6pm. St. Mery has Sri Lankas best and award winning chior team in all three languages.
