  This is a leading Gov school in Colombo 12 . The school ceased being a Catholic institution when the government nationalized schools in the 1960s, but the demographic shift has more to do with increasing congestion in older parts of the city that led one-time residents to Colombo´s outskirts. At one time this had been a Catholic School.
