  I am an Australian female tourist who arrived late with some other Australian female friends. We walked through the gates and we were treated horribly. The owners who were drug and alcohol effected started bashing us and punched me and my other female friends repeatedly in the face. My $300 sunglasses were ripped from my head when I was attacked and I was too scared to get them. I whitnessed my friends being assaulted and this was the most debilitating thing I have ever experienced in my whole life. With my cut lip and bruised body today, I am still trying to understand why a man would punch a woman in the face. It all happened so fast and the situation was very scary and uncontrolled. We had money and were willing to pay their overpriced entry fee, I am shocked. This is a warning to all tourists and females that this is a low class and dangerous place where the locals take matters into their own hands, literally. There is a massive drug use problem here. Please be careful and if you do go here please make sure you have a large group with you. Danger danger danger danger.

  The most racist place in Sri Lanka. As sri Lanka s they don’t want u and they are rude and they try to create a problem to get all Sri Lankan’s out. On our own country if we can’t go to a place and they only want foreigners that’s pretty sad .

  Food was good. Prices a bit expensive. WiFi was working also at the beachfront which was great.

  The curry was surprisingly good. The service was not the quickest, but we got everything we ordered. The views are nice, it's right at the beach. Seemed to be quite popular among us touristy folk.
