::We've eaten here 3 night's in a row (so far) and loved every dish. I had the small (not so small at all!) seafood platter for 1 and everything was beautiful! There's a little wait for the food but it's all being cooked fresh and is COMPLETELY worth every second, especially as you can sit at a table on the beach in the breeze and watch & listen to the waves and see the hermit crabs ambling about. Service is lovely, price is brilliant, and you can arrange trips with Berty at the same time! Our evenings at the Sun Shine Restaurant are bliss.

::We liked the restourant. It's located just on the beach. They have the variety of dishes in their menu starting from fresh juice to different kinds of sea food. The owner of it, Berty, also has a tourist license and can easily orginize any trip throughout Sri Lanka for you. It would be much more attractive if the owners changed some old details of the interior and made a shower.

::Sun Shine Restaurant was very unexpected and unplanned tip from a local boy who drove us by tuk-tuk for free to the beach. It was a nice surprise and the last seafood in Sri Lanka. Restaurant does not seem very serious at first impression, service provided there is by three bearded Sri Lankans in baseball caps, rather looking like fishermen. We were pleasantly surprised with fresh fish, perfect service, the taste of the fish was wonderful. Very well prepared fish, reasonable prices, cold beer, really good service.
