  Originally it was a girl's school. But later it became a mixed school and had classes up to o/l . Gradually number of students dropped to a very low as many started to attend to other popular schools. So it was then attached to St. John's National School as a Primary school. The Number of students rose up to the maximum level and results of the scholarship exam are very excellent every year.
