  Plenty of great teas, the advices and the patience of the owner, possibility to taste "on the spot" (2cups for approx 100lkr) The owner is passionate and studied about teas :) She is also preparing delicious curries: vegetable, dahl (lentils), fish... Fresh juices like papaya available (with ice is better: a little fresh). Expect to eat for less than 1000lkr food and drinks for 2 people. No alcohol I believe ;)

  One of our best Sri Lankan food experiences! Some cold drinks would be nice! Unfortunately the road is noisy.

  Be prepared to wait a little but it's definitely worth it!! We had the vegetable curry for only 200 rps and they cook you fantastic curries, like 5 different kinds and a cucumber/tomato salad. All fresh, all super delicious and such a friendly family! Make sure to check out this place!

  This place is fantastic! The must place in Tangalle. Amazing curry & rice (we tried egg), nice high tea, good fresh juices. This is home cooked food so you can order your food spicy 🌶 or not spicy (we asked for local spicy 🌶 🌶, it was delicious). Prices are totally affordable (look more like prices at local places in Colombo). Everything is served with very high standards. And while you wait for you food you have time to research around great collection of teas for sale. We didn’t try other places at Tangalle. This one is enough.

  Amazing curry rice, fresh and flavorful juices (without too much sugar!) and local food at local prices. 150 for vegetarian curry rice and 100 for a thick papaya juice! A gem among generic and overpriced tourist restaurants. Free WiFi too! My favourite restaurant in tangalle by a landslide, looking forward to lunch tomorrow!
