  Great setting with very nice rooms. Staff are friendly and attentive without being in your face. Well worth considering staying here.

  Very nice, cozy hotel, good green environment, pool, friendly staff, enough good kitchen,good location. Ayuverdic massage made by Ranjan,  high level specialist,very responsible, helped my wife from the pain of shoulder.

  Thambapanni Retreat is an amazing resort with a wonderful Dutch colonial theme. The ambience of the resort is comfortable, eco-friendly & relaxing. The resort is located not too far from Unawatuna beach, rather is at a walkable distance. The rooms irrespective of what you book are fabulous and loaded with amenities. The food at their restaurant is delicious and the breakfast buffet has a good spread. I actually relished the breakfast more than anything. :-) (the bacon, eggs, sausages etc). The staff is very friendly and courteous. The service was really good. Overall an amazing experience and worth staying at when you're in Sri Lanka & in the south coast.
