::"SALAPURA" Photography Association was first started in May 2nd 2004 with a total membership of 18 members. The founder president of this association is Senior photographer & Photo journalist Mr. Percy Fernando and The Secretary is photographer Mr. Tony Nisantha. At the same time we converted in to* Thevana esa photography & media association of Sri Lanka.* The association (Thevana esa) organized workshops, exhibitions, field trips, Instruction classes etc. for more enthusiasts in photography. The Stream of Thevana esa became heavily flowing river full of members from all corners of this small island with lots of photo opportunities
