  I was here 8 years ago, and it's one of the largest halls in Batticaloa, which is usually used for wedding receptions and ceremonies.

  It was s a bit large hall where the public programs usually taken place in Batticaloa. This hall is managed by the Cooperative society of Batticaloa. Mr. Theivanagram was a former minister of justice in the Sri Lankan cabinet and the vice President of all Sri Lankans cooperative society. This hall was built by the cooperative society of Batticaloa to remembered his service.
