  Visited pier88 for dinner.Ambience similar to beach shacks in Goa.The seafood platter was a disappointment. The devilled pork was good. A good variety of food and beverage on the menu.People at the next table were smoking,so that was a big downer.

  Don't be put off by the location when you see it from the road. Don't be put off by the haphazard process of confirming your booking (ask in the supermarket or Cafe 88). Once you are in the apartment is a calm and quiet gem of a place. BRILLIANT

  Came here for lunch. The restaurant is right by the river and is extremely pleasant. The service is attentive and the food is great..the restuarant is vegetarian friendly and the portions are generous too. Recommended

  Schöne Lage direkt am Bentota River. Essen hervorragend zu moderaten Preisen. Bedienung sehr freundlich und um die Gäste bemüht.

  Clean, great big rooms - looks rustic but really comfortable. Friendly service - we landed really early in the morning and had to pull the manager out of bed but he was cool about it. Quite useful location - near the Aluthgama railway station and a 20 minute walk to the bus stand or the beach. Has a Barista Lavazza and a restaurant (Pier 88) next door which means food is not a worry. Needs a couple of minor maintenance tweaks - each room has its own. But otherwise definitely worth it.
