  Monument to the victims of the devastating tsunami that happened in 2004. Hundreds of thousands of people were killed, and the southwestern coast suffered greatly.

  This buddha statue's height is as same as the tsunami wave. There's a small museum by the statue which you can see the pictures of disaster.
