::Singha Lounge is the best place to stay in Unawatuna! The hosts lsuru und his lovely wife Judith are very welcoming and hospitable! The rooms are comfortable and clean and everything is working as it should! There is a big dining table outside where you can enjoy homecooked sri lankan meals or have drinks with other guests and the hosts. There is always somebody to chat or party with around. Isuru is also a very good surfer who can show you all the spots! We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back some day!

::I fell in love with this amazing hostel. I stayed at singha lounge on two occasions. First i was there for three nights before i left for another hotel. But after a few days i missed singha lounge so much that i came back! The family that runs the hostel is very welcoming and makes you feel like you are home. Isuru always has a smile on his face and likes to take the guests surfing or just to chill. Judit is the greatest host you will ever meet and makes you feel included. Shes also a great cook and offers cooking classes for sri lankan cousine. The hostel is located at the best spot in unawatuna, its a quite area close to the beach. There are restaurants and stores close by. I highly recommend this hostel for solo travelers or a group of friends!
