  Dont use premium service. Its a wasting time. They only allocate one person to handle all the premium service application. We have 22 people in our group and we use premium service. We have to stay nearly two hours standing outside. Only thing you can have a cup of tea and water bottle for this premium service. But lots of wasting time. If you use normal routine you have more than 12 counter to receipt your application. So it is more faster. Also around 9 to 11.30 the place is very busy. But afterwards it backs to normal.

  This place is relatively edficient. I went to get my visa documents submitted and pretty much all done under one hour. Best if you take all documents ready as the current photography and photocopy service is not enough to cater to the demand.

  I have been here for my eu visa application a several times through out the years. The agents are helpful in terms of organizing your paper work and putting things together but they seriously lack knowledge on giving the right information. Today I went to vfs (3rd time) apply for schengen visa the Switzerland embassy because the first put of entry is Amsterdam Netherlands, this was advised by a staff of vfs when i come the first 2 times. When I arrived today they told me I should apply through the French embassy. Simple misunderstandings I know but there should be better communication and furthermore help the client make an appointment with the French, since the client is paying vfs a sum of money for the processing work they do. Even the manager wasn't helpful specially because the next appointment with the French embassy for the next 20 days and my intended travel dates are in month

  First time at VFS in Sri Lanka.Over all impression Very Good.

  Prepare all your documents in order when you go.. Follow all rules on website.. Then its very easy... Better if you make appointment in morning.. if some document is missing you can request from counter to extend appointment time,May be for 2 hours. try to finish all in same day. otherwise you wont get appointment day for another week because normally full.. Per person its about 13,700 Rs if its France visa.
