  Local Pirivena well known for its educational activities. There are several private tuition classes held in the premises, not only for religious subjects, but also for other subjects like Sinhala language and Mathematics in the local curriculum. There is a (Buddhist) Sunday School also conducted by the monks presiding here and some hired staff. People do visit for religious observances, but this is not a very popular place of worship in the area.

  Lots of private tuition classes are conducted. Difficult to see the religious activities.
