  5/5 stars for location. Perfect beach front location with a million dollar view of the sea just 10 metres away. Basic No frills self contained accommodation with free WIFI, spacious living areas, clean rooms and fully equipped kitchen. No air conditioning but this is not an issue due to the unlimited cool sea breeze and ceiling fans fixed throughout the inside of the villa. Property is located in Thalpe - 5km away from Unawatuna, on the old Colombo- Matara road. Nearest town is 2.5km away providing a quiet and uncrowded beach. Need to have own transport as nearest restaurants and shopping areas are about 2.5km away. The owner, Chaminda and his cousin Dulan were very helpful and will provide a tuk-tuk for hire if needed. Loved this place and will definitely return if I get a chance.
