  One of the best beaches you can find on down south srilanka!!! Best times are early mornings and late evenings!! Also perfect for surfing 🤙🏾 Best beach vibes

  The beach is bit littered with debris that has come from the sea. Since many fishing boats are there in the beach you can see dead fish lying around that has dropped from the nets. Could see many locals playing cricket and enjoying themselves. But not the best beach comparing with the other down south beaches

  Unfortunately this beach was very dirty with plastic trash everywhere and run off liquid from the nearby town going into the water. Would be a great beginner surf spot if not for the bad hygiene

  Whats good The beach with shallow water is a surfing haven. It's long and straight and has all the facilities for a surfing session including stay at a branded hotel - Marriott is right on the beach. Whats not good Still evolving, more facilities are expected soon. What to do Take a surfing session for USD50 for couple hours. That should be enough to try on your own. Enjoy.

  Perfect beach for surfing. Surfboards go for 250 rupees an hour including a shirt. Tip: Come early to claim one of the few sunbeds available. There are only three restaurants offering them.
