  Located right by the shore and adjacent to the surf school on Hikkaduwa beach it's ideal for surfers and beachgoers. Secondly the food is really good with the seafood particularly tasty. The scenery and beach are perfect if you like swimming,sun,surf and seafood. Finally,it costs buttons to stay in the fine rooms and the staff are pleasant and extremely helpful. I really can't fault the place.

  Not a bad place. I went here, actually to get a surfboard rental because I heard they had the cheapest rates.. The reviews were not wrong. They definitely had reasonable prices for surf board rentals. I even got personal lessons for one hour which costed about 14 dollars American . I would recommend this place for anybody that's looking for a budget surf board rental or lessons, but if you look, you will find reasonable rates on all along the beach. It all depends on how far you're willing to walk

  We found this place to be very good value for all room types, and it looks out at the main wave. The lead in room types at the rear of the property are brand new and very spacious with comfortable mew mattresses, and all room types were excellent value compared to other rooms of the same price in this area. Then there are the ocean front rooms, of which there are three stacked on top of each other, increasing in price depending which floor you select. No detectable mould smell in any of the rooms we looked at (my pet hate). We stayed in the top/third floor, which we never wanted to leave, and only moved out because there was another booking. It has a big bathroom with a hot shower and a bath, the main lounge bedroom area has a comfortable bed, a lounge area with a couch and coffee table, and entire walls of windows which are fringed in coconut palms look straight out to sea and to the wave. The balcony is relaxing and shaded, with two big comfortable seats and a table between. Because it's a few floors up the whole place is very peaceful, at night you go to sleep to the sound of the surf. There is also a separate room with a kitchenette, fridge/kettle/sink and a single bed. The food left a bit to be desired, nothing wrong with it, but nothing great either. We tried eating there a couple of times, but in the end there are so many good food joints nearby we just ate out, and kept some food and snacks in the fridge. Also, there are a couple of cameras which are pointed at the room, I assume this is for security, as they make no effort to hide them. I have seen the screen in the office, and they look at the balcony in a way that they would see anyone climb into the balcony. Maybe just to be aware, in case you like hanging out on the balcony in your birthday suit but don't like the thought of someone seeing you! Would definitely stay here again.
