  We ended up in Wild View Resort completely by chance as our original booking in another home stay was cancelled. This "misfortune" turned out to be our good luck. To be clear: the Wild View is more of a home stay than a resort. There are three rooms, not big but sizeable enough. Interior is basic, 1 room has an AC, the others just fans. Our room was very clean, including sheets and towels. What made our stay so special was the hospitality and friendliness the owners showed to us and our 8 year old son. We had a real tasty dinner with lots of veggie choices and talked late into the night. Breakfast was equally good, everything was obviously freshly prepared by the lady of the house. Hence: if you are looking for a clean and superfriendly home stay, the Wild View Resort is a very good choice! I&B (DE/US)

  Very good people, very helpful and welcoming, great food breakfast and dinner. Different meals every time and so tasty and always way more then possible to eat! Good rooms with ac, hot water and clean beds. We had a very pleasant two day stay where our host arranged a spectacular elephant safari and he even drove us to lions rock in his TT and helped us arrange our voyage to Kandy.

  Stayed here for two nights, bedroom was lovely, very comfortable bed, spacious room, fan and a/c. Power shower and hot water, all was clean. Lovely outside seating area on the communal upstairs balcony. Breakfast was delicious, as was the fruit we asked for for lunch. Dinner of rice and curry was absolutely divine, a must try. Really great family to stay with; so friendly, kind and welcoming. Tour of the garden is a must, so many interesting animals, fruit trees and other plants. We were collected from the bus and dropped into habarana for dinner on the first night free of charge. Arranged a jeep safari for us, very knowledgeable of bus services, local area and amenities. Highly recommend staying here.

  We stayed with a two year old and 3 adults and we couldn't have been happier. Beautiful grounds, excellent food, and most of all a warm and welcoming family. They went above and beyond to make sure we and all guests were more than comfortable, but also fell in love with the local area and were happy during our stay. Excellent ambassadors of Sri Lankan culture. I recommend this place with all my heart!
