  Reviewing the terrace High Tea: Must be one of the nicest High Teas in Sri Lanka. Suitably-attired waiters hover to receive orders or pour more cups of steaming tea. They serve delicious sconces with thick cream and the best strawberry jam for miles. We just love the colonial ambiance of wide terraces with ceiling fans blowing the warm sea air around, large antique Dutch boxes and oversized sofas with well-appointed decorations. A really charming place to indulge in a royal pastime.

  The hotel has a good natural atmosphere surrounded on it and gives it a good look.

  Very old looking hotel.. really need some restoration works for the exterior.. rooms are cozy and clean though
