  lovely owner, very welcoming. and also nice ambience. but food was average. we had a fish curry and a cuttlefish curry. the fish one was some rather smelly tuna which I preferred not to finish. we asked for spicy, explaining we had already been to Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and we wanted the real thing. nothing, it came very mild. the daahl was also average, quite diluted/liquid. on the positive side, the coconut sambal was fresh and among the best we have had. the grilled pineapple was a first for us in a curry, and was very nice indeed.

  We stopped in here and asked if they did takeaway vegetable roti, the spicy triangle kind you find around Sri Lanka. The lady assured us she did and went off to make them. She came back, handed us a bag with the roti all wrapped up and charged us 450 rupees each! We've never paid more than 50 rupees for these and to make matters worse we didn't even get what we asked for. See the picture. Such a rip off, they were awful, flavourless and bland. Avoid this place, feel totally cheated.

  Nothing special, very very very long service. Average food, and drink. Dirty place, table not clean between customers. They left the previous customer's napkin! Had a lassi that tested funny... Asked for another one, fresher! The waiter forgot an empty bottle of bear on our table when he came to exchange the lassi, and charged us for that bottle of bear someone else drunk! Food nothing special. Advise: don't use the toilet!!!!
