  We only stayed here one night but it made a real impression. A lovely place but the host, Nera really made this a great stay. He was so friendly and so welcoming. Anything we wanted or needed, he would do all he could to help. He arranged a trip to see sunrise to see Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya and it was great. He cooked us amazing food for both dinner and breakfast. We couldn't have asked for more. If you plan to visit Sigiriya, stay here.

  Nera is a great host and the food here is simply amazing and authentic (I know lots of people say this, but really... It was such good food, not too salty and not westernised at all, nice and authentically spicy!). He will feed you as much food as he can, so just say yes to everything :) he will also show you how to cook the food and sit with you (if you like) to talk and drink the night away. Everything is prepared fresh and he'll talk to you about what you like and your preferences - It's more like a homestay here. The place was extremely good value for money... And it felt fairly priced, we trusted Nera. He helped us organise a Jeep with his mate and rented out his moped to us for a day. He also has a restaurant in Sigiriya town run by his daughter and wife which had the best kottu roti we've had, tasty, spicy, hot and not too salty. Nera tells his story that he started with humble beginnings, a simple fruit stall, and then his restaurant. This treehouse is his new venture and is beautiful, Nera built it all himself with the help of volunteers - he has big plans for the future. If you're after 5-star luxury in a big room with no bugs, this place isn't for you. But if you want someone who understands the value of good customer care and kindness please stay here - his place is rickety and quirky, but this is why we loved it!

  My Guests said it's a RIP off. The guy who wellcome them was Drunk. They left the next morning without Breakfast. No hot water in the rooms .Please stay away.
