  We do not like to write bad rearview, but we need to. We orderd a grilled fish. There is no Grill at the restaurant. Only oven, the fish we got was absolutely different then the one we saw before cooking. There is millions of fish restaurants, do not choose this one.

  We ordered rice and curry and had to pay for the rice separately. It coster 250 rupees and was dry and absolutely not tasty. Curry was also not the best and it wasn't salted at all. The service was extremely slow and we had to wait for an hour or so. Also 10% for service is already included in the bill

  The worst rice and curry I've ever had in Sri Lanka. Bear in mind that you'll get just one bowl of curry and you have to pay extra for rice per person. The same with tea. If you order a pot of black tea, the price is different for one or two persons. No mention of that in the menu. If you tell your dissatisfaction to the service, the only response you'll get is smiling right into your face. If you want good food for good money and not to be disappointed, choose a different place. In our case: one small bowl of fish curry = 500 LKR, one small bowl of prawn curry = 575 LKR, one plate of rice suitable for one person = 250 LKR, a pot of black tea 450 LKR.

  This was the worst experience in Sri Lanka. We ordered prawn and fish curry, the result was one bowl of fish and one bowl of prawn with the same sauce and the rice was paid separately. One portion of rice for 250 lkr. The rice was cold and not tasty. Also we ordered pot of tea (in menu for 350 lkr) and we didn't get milk, only sugar. Finally we had to pay 450 lkr for the tea pot. We complained to the service and the service was laughing to our face. According to him the pot for two people needs more water. Really? The worst approach here in Sri Lanka.

  Awesome place to eat, one of the best meals I had in Sri Lanka! Great host and service, nice place to sit. Both thumbs up! P.s. try the grilled calamari with garlic and curry leaves sauce, yummy!
