Very sad to see what happend back in 2004 when the country got hit by tsunami, 14 years past and people are still recovering from the damages. A must visit place simple but amazing

A real eye opener. It's mostly photos of the aftermath and information about general tsunami formation. The guy was very friendly and informative. I like that they have a donation for the orphans of the tsunami. I would rate 5 except it is very small and could easily be done in 5 mins and I wish there was more to see! It is also free entry so it's worth a visit.

Very interesting and worthwhile visit. The start of the visit is a bit basic (reading info on earthquake etc. on walls) but the rest is truely impactful, with lots of mind blowing facts, figures and images about the 2004 tsunami and how it affected the community. Most people have lost one or many loved ones in this tragic and traumatic natural disaster, as well as their homes and everything they had built or acquired. A humbling experience, reminding you of how courageous and resilient this community really is.

Very interesting and worthwhile place to visit when in the area. Helps foreigners understand the scale and impact of the tsunami. Run by a family out of a converted home. Donations encouraged.

I must say it was impressive to see a wall of pictures of uncensored dead bodies caused by the tsunami. Other than that it also had a lot of other interesting info, and the people there had some background stories. It's a good stop for 15 minutes or so.
