  We were about to get our tickets to Galle and the tourist information office just wanted to sell their tours. They do offer. Great customer service but sometimes it’s better to do your own consultation before believing on what they say.

  One of the most visited places in Sri Lanka. History of Fort railway station dates back to 1916. Being the main railway terminal of the country, station could have been provide a better service than what it does now.

  Fairly well maintained. As expected the office end times are the most busiest and crowded during week days. (See 'popular times' graphs.) The timely departure is good but can and should be improved. Has 11 platforms and the three sets of stairs cover most of them.

  Big railway station. very poor ticket serving. you don't know why there is no people in the ticket counter. they wont tell you why you are asked to wait. bring your coins otherwise they will tell you no change. no respect to people in the queue. less information on queues. watch out those tiny tv presentation for some details.

  The largest and busiest railway station in Srilanka!! This is the central hub for all rail routes. You could get trains to almost anywhere in this island. But not that clean or maintained.
